„There is Always Something“ ist nicht nur ein Albumtitel. Es beschreibt eine einjährige Phase, in der die vier Musiker der Britpop Band THE STUD ihren Weg aus dem musikalischen Treibsand Stuttgarts gefunden haben. So scheuten sie nicht den Weg nach Hamburg, um im Sixties-Ambiente der YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! Studios bei Dennis Rux analoge Klänge aufs Band zu bannen.

THE STUD, zwei Chilenen und zwei Deutsche, begannen Ende 2006 die unaufhörliche Suche nach neuen Klängen, ausgehend von Indie, Britpop und Sixties, um schließlich ihren eigenen Stil zu finden: Sie mischen die Musik von Rubber Soul und Revolver mit Schlagzeugrhythmen im Stil der Small Faces oder Kinks und würzen das Ganze mit aktuellen Klängen. Die Wurzeln der Band liegen in Barcelona und in Santiago de Chile, doch vereint die Band verschiedene Kulturen - das Deutsche, Englische, Spanische und Chilenische zu einem sehr aktuellen und individuellen Sound.

T.I.A.S vereint diverse Inspirationen. Gleich zu Beginn mit „Turn Around“ und „Shake your Arms“ zeigt sich die Energie, die THE STUD immer wieder von neuem antreibt, eine ordentliche Packung Lärm, die ihren Ursprung im Garagen Punk der Sechziger Jahre findet. Danach folgt „There is always something“, der dem Album den Titel gibt und wie „Fireflies“, „Out of my mind“ und „Come“ an modernen Britrock erinnert. Aber auch geheimnisvolle Psychedelia ist in „Real Time“ und „Sunday Morning“ zu hören.

Nach vielen Jahren auf den verschiedensten Konzertbühnen in Deutschland, Holland, England und Spanien zu erleben, veröffentlichen THE STUD ihr zweites Album auf dem Frankurter Moonshake Records Label. Auf einer europaweiten Tour wird das Album ein breites Live-Publikum begeistern.

„There is Always Something“ is not simply the title of an album. It is the a agenda to a one year period in which the four musicians of the Britpop band THE STUD found their way out of Stuttgart's musical quicksand. Therefore, they did not hesitate to travel to Hamburg for some vintage analog recordings in an original sixties setting provided by Dennis Rux at Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Studios.

THE STUD, two Chliean and two German guys, started their never ending search for new sounds at the end of 2006, inspired by Indie, Britpop and Sixties, to find their new individual style. They mix the music of Rubber Soul and Revolver with the drum sound of the Small Faces or the Kinks. Finally, they melt it with modern sounds. The origin of the band is Santiago de Chile and Barcelona, however the band unite German, English, Spanish and Chilean Culture to create a up to date sound.

T.I.A.S. shows the different Inspirations. In commences with "Turn Around" and "Shake Your Arms" full of the energy that drives THE STUD from day to day, a musical kick in the nutts deriving from Sixties Garage Punk. The following track "There is always something", "Fireflies", "Out of my Mind" and "Come" are an homage to modern Britpop. However, there are mysterious psychedelias in "Real Time" and "Sunday Morning".

After many years on several stages around Germany, Holland, England and Spain, THE STUD are releasing their second record on Frankfurt based Moonshake Records. On a European tour the STUD will challenge and entertain massive crowds.
